Engine MRO Bottlenecks Highlight Why Inspection Data Must Become Operational Intelligence

For much of the industry, the discussion has centred on increasing capacity. More repair facilities, more engineers and greater access to spare parts are all vital. Every engine entering an MRO facility generates a vast amount of inspection information. Dimensional measurements, non-destructive testing results, repair histories, material certifications and quality records all contribute to deciding whether a component can return to service. As maintenance volumes continue to rise, those delays become increasingly significant.
